Hi,
If Method 1 does NOT solve your problem, please proceed to Method 2.
The solution involves editing the registry. Please read Microsoft's
warning BEFORE using regedit.
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
Note: I suggest you save the registry settings befor making any changes.
First select the branch (eg: HKCU), then from the menu select File ->
Export. Give a name and save the file. To restore boot to safe mode and
double click the file you have saved and reboot the system to normal mode.

--Toolbars that I add to the Taskbar are not retained after
--I restart the computer. These include things like
--the "Quick Start" toolbar and if I add "My Computer" as a
--toolbar.
--
--Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
--
--I've tried selective startup and can't find any program
--that might be causing this.
--More Information:
- If I right click on the taskbar, then click on toolbars, the menu that follows is greyed out
- Put 'er there: To add the Links toolbar to the taskbar, right-click the taskbar, choose Toolbars, and select Links on the resulting menu
- If you don't see the QLT on your taskbar, right-click an empty spot on your taskbar and select toolbars->Quick Launch
- Teatimer should not automatically stop the applications that are normally in your taskbar from being added to startup if they are not in your black & white list
- Right click on the Windows Taskbar, and on the drop up menu that pop ups click on the Toolbars
- The users do not have the toolbars to disable this themselves so I was wandering if there's a way I can code this into the startup form? Any help would me much appreciated
- So, all we can hope now is that you will have found, somewhere above, a successful fix for your lost taskbar
- This restriction is used to remove all the toolbars, including Quick Launch, from the taskbar
