Hey guys. I did a release with PRWeb and a few other services yesterday May 10th.

Estimated Pickups - 433

The release made it into both google and yahoo news. I paid $90 dollars.

This is the second time I've used PRWeb and in my opinion, it can be good for backlinks and SEO, but unless you pay enough to get into the very top spot for everyone to see, you should not count on your release being written about in the media unless it is truly unique and newsworthy. Good tool if used wisely, but no "magic" traffic and media solution.



What are some results you guys have had, anyone get published by the media other than google or yahoo news and other such expected places?

Although these weren't really 'general interest' press releases, and the $200 one was probably more interesting to our target audience.
