Can anyone help. Canon tech help not much good. black not printing. Have cleaned and test print has no black. It did print in filemaker pro so I looked for a setting problem but can't find one in other application. Is, or can some command be switched off that I am not aware off.

More Information:
  1. The files involve black type built from four-color process rather than 100 percent black ink
  2. I'm having the exact same problem with TWO Epson printers
  3. I can't use all my precious black ink for letters
  4. i called HP direct and they are aware of this problem
  5. The document would print fine in colored fonts, but not in black
  6. In these cases, the toner cartridge can be the root of the problem
  7. For some unknown reason, my black color is way off in CD LabelPrint
