    Networking!

    If i have 2 computers on a small network that are connected to each other by ethernet to ethernet to a dsl modem, can i share files on my computer to the other computer and vice versa?? and if so, how? b/c putting files in the shared documents folder j/isnt cutting it

    The best way to do this is just creat a shared folder on each computer (basiclly thats what the shared docs is for) call it "Share_COMPUTERNAME"

    Do that on each computer, viola!

    its not really working for me...i created the folders in each computer, shared them, and named them with the computer name, but no files that i put in there show up on the other computer

    I need help being able to share files from the two computers I have here connected NIC to NIC and this computer being the main server as in its directly connected to the dsl modem and has 2 NICS, one leading to the dsl and the other going to the other computer. Both computers go online with no problem, but the file sharing and all that stuff doesnt really work. Can anyone help me out with this problem? how can i share files from these 2 computers with each other???
