Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.configuration_manage,uk .comp.home-networking (More info?)I'm sure that my network connections folder used to show, under either
the type or status column three pieces of information:
1) Connected (or dial-up depending on which of the above columns is
right)
2) If the connection was shared
3) If the connection was firewalled.
I seem to have completely lost the last two.
Anyone able to suggest what I may have messed up, and how to put it
right?
Cheers,

Insanity is hereditary, you get it from your childrenMore Information:
- Assuming that you have a DSL connection (512 Kbps*) or faster, you can download most Adobe type products in less than a minute and most individual products in a few hours
- SYNTAX IpAddress ACCESS read-only STATUS mandatory DESCRIPTION "The address of the border router that should be used for the destination network
- An incomplete Section Vl (only two pages long) on local area network management, discussing such topics as accounting, diagnostics and recovery concludes
- bgpRcvdPathAttrTable OBJECT-TYPE SYNTAX SEQUENCE OF BgpPathAttrEntry MAX-ACCESS not-accessible STATUS obsolete DESCRIPTION "The BGP Received Path Attribute Table
- The "incomplete" operational status for an entry in the Connection Table indicates that segments exist, but others are unknown or nonexistent
- The real advantage of FTP is that almost every computer and operating system which supports connection to a network comes equipped with a command-line FTP
- It is very annoying thing, it needs me to check network connection and reconnect manually periodically, so download any bigger file is almost impossible
