    Hi Guys,

I usually always find answers for what I am look for in the forum here, but here is something I can't seem to find any advice on...

I notice that some articles submitted to article directories use anchor text in the link in the resource box at the bottom of the article, and some people just put a straight link URLs with no anchor Text. I also notice some authors put one link, while others put two or three.

Any advice on how to SEO optimize the link on the article? Since you can only put a link or two it would be good to get it right the first time. Any advice here?? Do you think its important to have anchor text on that link, does it not matter, or does it look less "natural" to the search engines?

Also better to leave one link then say 2-3?

    Any help is appreciated guys!!

I think it's fair to say that Anchor text is definitely better. Google will look at the anchor text and take it into account for keyword ranking.

If possible maybe try and have different keywords in your anchor text depending on which site you submit the article to as well. Having 100 sites link to you with "My Site on Niche" is less effective (I think personally) than having 5 sets of 20 with "Niche Keyword 1", "Niche Keyword 2", "Niche Keyword 3", "Niche Keyword 4", "Niche Keyword 5".
    More Information:
    1. Simply load your article, enter your author information (with link and anchor text), choose the directories you want to submit to and watch Article Announcer go to work
    2. Search engines will crawl the article that you have submitted to the various article directories, and follow the anchor text to your new website
    3. Having a keyword embedded Anchor Text in the link will help the search engine to identify your site easily
    4. If you use the keyword or keyphrase of your website as the anchor text and link this text to your website URL, search engines will gulp this info faster
    5. About two-thirds of the article directories allow for the author to select the anchor text of the link in the author's resource box
    6. Use the alternative anchor text in your articles' alternative resource boxes
    7. Each article will be published with a resource box at the bottom acknowledging the author and a link back to your web site
