Link Anchor Text in the resource box for submitted articles?

    Hi Guys,

I usually always find answers for what I am look for in the forum here, but here is something I can't seem to find any advice on...

I notice that some articles submitted to article directories use anchor text in the link in the resource box at the bottom of the article, and some people just put a straight link URLs with no anchor Text. I also notice some authors put one link, while others put two or three.

Any advice on how to SEO optimize the link on the article? Since you can only put a link or two it would be good to get it right the first time. Any advice here?? Do you think its important to have anchor text on that link, does it not matter, or does it look less "natural" to the search engines?

Also better to leave one link then say 2-3?

    Any help is appreciated guys!!
    More Information:
    1. So theoretically, you can have 20 different links with different anchor text on your resource boxes
    2. That means that I can a) change up the anchor text I choose to link back to my blog and b) I can change what pages I link to from an article
    3. At the end of the article use an interesting resource box text that makes people click on your link, and for that link use anchor text that
    4. Link Number 2: In the resource box, I once again created a keyword phrase and used it as a link to an article deep in my archives
    5. You can also sumbit articles to Ezinearticles and other article sites and anchor text in the author resource box
    6. Most forum use bb code so it would be very easy to use it and make a clickable link (anchor text) with their keyword for the post

I think it's fair to say that Anchor text is definitely better. Google will look at the anchor text and take it into account for keyword ranking.

If possible maybe try and have different keywords in your anchor text depending on which site you submit the article to as well. Having 100 sites link to you with "My Site on Niche" is less effective (I think personally) than having 5 sets of 20 with "Niche Keyword 1", "Niche Keyword 2", "Niche Keyword 3", "Niche Keyword 4", "Niche Keyword 5".
    More Information:
    1. Author resource box links will allow putting your site links with targeted anchor text (keywords)
    2. Try to use the targeted keyword phrase in your title, 2-3 times in your article and in you resource box as the anchor text for your back link
    3. In return, these publishers agree to link back to your site, via the 'resource box' that you put at the end of the article - this contains some info about your business
    4. 109b does not allow articles which have strategic keyword anchor text links in the body to your domain that do not add informational value to the article
    5. Make sure the anchor text for the link uses keywords that are relevant to both the article and your website
    6. Blunder Number 3: Not including an HTML-formatted link with "anchor text" in your ezine article's author's resource box
    7. Because these links are in-text, and not in a resource box, they appear very natural
    8. 2-3 Links in the Author´s Resource Box: Provides you valuable deep anchor text links to your site
    9. For Scribd, adding the resource box and anchor text link at the bottom
    10. Write the article for PEOPLE and use the resource box and anchor text for search engines… get it? This still requires effort from you
