Anyone know if there's a way to do this? I know someone figured a way to access Gmail through POP3 on Outlook. Can a similar method be used on a cellphone?
I basically get all the news I need sent to me on Gmail, so it would be great to have it in the palm of my hands.
BTW, anyone know of a cheap BT adapter? I want to transfer some ringtones (and backup those nice pics). No, I don't have that stupid 25 Picture Messages plan
More Information:
- On the next screen, you will have to specify your Outlook Gmail settings, such as your Gmail username and password, Gmail server addresses, Gmail
- If you are viewing this page you should be here to configure Outlook for Gmail POP3 access
- After adding "recent" to the gmail account set-up in Outlook, I can no longer send messages from that PC
- I don't know about port setting on the 600 but maybe you should try the defauly smtp for your carrier
- I'm attempting to configure POP3/SMTP for my Gmail hosted domain and have been experiencing issues the last 24 hours
- For example, you can send an email message by using gmail smtp server (it is freely available) to any SMTP server like GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc
