can anybody give me a good site for

bash sripting(with a much aspects but for a beginner)

i read two books(now reading one about sed and awk) but don't have really the inspiration to

make up my own

or some excercises of some you out there

You've come to as good as any. If you're looking for exercises simply view the posts in the Shell scripting forum..when people post questions - try and figure them out and post your replies.



Likewise use the search function to look for other threads pertaining to bash (which will be numerous) and look at some of the examples or earlier questions.



You'll find at points people have asked a questin - then by the end of the thread it's been answered - so find some questions and try work it out - and check your results against the resolution later on in the thread.
