    Connection Problem with LG LCD

    Hello

I do not have much info about computer.

I had a flat screen 17 "which failed. I just bought a flat screen TFT 22''Wide - VGA-DVI - HDMI (HDCP) - 2 ms - 10 000:1-W2252V-PF and I'm having problems with connections. I have a graphics card GE Force NDIVIDIA 6200. I tried all connections. Nothing works. I get the message "checking connecting cable" with my previous flat screen, I was connected to analog. So I tried myself in the same way but the problem persists.

    More Information:
    1. Hi, I've got a Samsung SyncMaster P2370 LCD Monitor with only a DVI connection and I'm looking for a splitter/ converter/ solution to connect both VGA output from a computer and a HDMI-DVI male lead from a Sky HD Box

    4. If this connection is not proper then your LCD will not work
    5. Is this just an impossible connection? I know the composite is analogue so doesn't the cable adapt from DVI to analogue? Or which wrong path am I on? appreciate

Apply the requirements of this issue to try to diagnose the cause, but it seems that there is a concern about this series of monitors messages in this regard flowering for some time on the Net.

The message appears when the video cable to connect your PC monitor is disconnected or poorly connected. Check cable and try again, but it is highly likely that the cable is damaged or defective.

Ultimately a return service should be the best answer.

Thank you for your reply. I have a small difference with the poster who encounters a problem somewhat similar, namely: When I connect the screen to my PC, the LG logo appears and the signal is blue (not orange).

I have connected, disconnected and reconnected without result. I will try tonight to connect the cables with my old screen.

    More Information:
    1. I connected my laptop to my full hd 40˝ bravia lcd last night, because I wanted to watch my blu rays on my lcd tv
    2. If you using a known good LCD screen and video cable, but the screen is still white, it's either bad connection between the cable and motherboard
    3. At first I thought that the problem was in the cable, so I returned the cable that I purchased and got a new one
    4. As I stated in my earlier email, some DVDs trigger the problem while others don't
    5. As the rest of the family is on wireless now, since we re-arranged the PC, a wired connection isn't possible anymore
    6. If it doesn't work on a known good computer, the problem is with the monitor, not your PC
    7. And we can use a test machine to eliminate problem one by one
