Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.device_driver.dev (More info?)The CDplayer/writer came as a part of my HP Pavilionx1848
which had Windows ME. After upgrading to XP, my
player/writer no longer works. I checked hardware and
found I have the drivers, but they evidently are not
activated through XP. Will I have to go ahead and change
back to ME to be able to copy CD's on my writer? I'm not
sure I would be able to do that (I'm not too computer
smart!) Would deeply appreciate any help you can give an
old 81 year old lady.More Information:
