Car woofer to pioneer receiver

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to connect my two 12" subs to my pioneer home theatre receiver. I have them hooked up now, but they are each connected to the front left and right speakers, but I want more bass power to them. There is a sub-output, but my subs only have audio 10 gauge wire. Do you think it is possible?

The sub output on your receiver is probably line-level only. You'll need an amp as well. There are existing threads about rigging a car amp to work at home; the search function will find them. Getting a proper 120V-powered home amp will be a lot easier and far less ghetto.
