The BlackBerry 9630 Niagara has appeared again and this time we have better pictures. From what we can see so far the handset is turned on and it should be fully functional. So what is RIM still waiting for? If the phone works we should be able to officially get it soon. Maybe those folks with the camera and the leopard print there might be kind enough to drop a few specs our way in the near future!
The BlackBerry 9630 is a CDMA full-QWERTY BlackBerry and as you can see in the photo (the 9630) is more compact than a BlackBerry Bold. The BlackBerry 9630 is said to be available on Verizon and is supposed to be a World Edition. Other rumored features include GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSPA and CDMA 1xRTT/EV-DO Rev. A connectivity and a 3.2MP camera.
More Information:
- That spec looks to me like Blackberry Tour can be used in Singapore, on a 3
- Here is a "leaked" video of the new BlackBerry 9630 Niagara
- The Niagara is the future BlackBerry 9630 which should arrive from Verizon Wireless in the future
- RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 specs and features, in-depth review with ratings including user reviews and photos
- 2: HTC Touch pro2<-BB 9630<-HTC Touch Pro<-BB 8330<-BB 8130<-LG EnV2(Keybo)<-HTC P4000<-i880<-motoQ
- rocks both GSM and CDMA) smartphone would be a likely fit for Verizon, who had supported RIM's first World Edition device, the 8830, back
- And I do blame RIMM here- I mean, if VZW is really the problem, then why wouldn't Sprint or Telus or Bell or any other CDMA carrier on earth
